Chicago map for Minecraft 1.13.1 is a city and explore map created by Luke. It’s not really big map if you would like to download map, “just” 14 MB in size zipped, but for exploring and walking it is huge. To explore the whole map you will need an hours and hours of walking.
This map was created several years by only one person, from just Luke itself. It’s amazing when you think how many hours of work, planning was spent in this “small” but big project for Minecraft community. Scale model of Chicago city map is 1:4. It’s made and recommended for latest Minecraft versions, and current is 1.13.1 but it should work on other versions as well.

The comments from Minecraft community are merely words of praise and support, especially of the people from Chicago. The author of this map advice you to check subway system and the river walk, because he especially enjoy of building them. Also, don’t forget to explore and find all the hidden areas of this city.

How to install Chicago map
1. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Applicaion Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder, or check in your filebrowser under view or settings)
3. Copy the map file which you just have downloaded into the saves folder, inside of Minecraft folder. Extract from rar/zip archive. Map must be extracted to saves folder and contain its subfolder.
4. Start Minecraft and choose installed map.
