If you were, and we believe so, bored with an Iron Golems that was difficult to create, and in addition it always looked the same. Boring! Then, we believe you will warly welcome Extra Golems or in the old name Too Many Golems mod with a smile on your face.
This exceptional and special mod brings you, no more nor less, than exactly 35 new and varied golems. We can list just a few, Glass Golem, Redstone Golem, Ice Golem, Leaves Golem, Endstone Golem, Slimy Golem and many more.
To create a Golem, place T-shaped blocks, similar to Iron Golem. Lastly, just place the Golem Head on top and that’s it. Once created, the golem does the same thing as an Iron Golem, kills monsters left and right of itself and protects your base or fortress.
The ismplest way is to start game in Creative mode and call desired golem with summon command in chat window.

How to install Extra Golems mod
1. Install Minecraft forge (if you don’t have it yet installed)
2. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder)
3. Copy the mod file which you just have downloaded (.jar file) into the mods folder, inside of Minecraft folder. If you don’t have mods folder, create this folder by yourself.
4. Start Minecraft, click on MODS button and check if your new mod is successfully installed and added

I am confused. Above it says this mod is for 1.14.4, but the download says it’s for 1.12.2. Which is it? It looks awesome.

Check above, now it is fixed, there are both versions for Minecraft 1.14.4 and 1.12.2.
