Faithful Resource pack for Minecraft 1.13 with improved 32×32 textures

Faithful Resource pack for Minecraft 1.13 is great texture pack for Minecraft created by xMrVizzy. This is “almost” vanilla resource pack and that’s the main reason why this pack is so popular. Most of textures are the same or at least similar to original vanilla Minecrafts default resources. So, now you know where Faithful name came from. This resource pack is faithful to original and default Minecraft resources.

Get better vanilla look of Minecraft game

The only and main difference is that this pack offer higher resolutions so it will look better. You can check differences in our screenshots below. Original texture pack is 16×16, while faithful offer 32×32 pixel textures. It seems on first that this is doubled resolution, but actually this is 4 times better. For example: 16×16=256, while 32×32=1024, and 1024/256 = 4. The big four.

Good to mention is not that this resource pack just improves game look, but also all menus in game look far better and nicer.

How to install Faithful Resource pack

1. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finmder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Applicaion Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder)
2. Copy the Resource pack file which you just have downloaded (.zip file) into the resourcepacks folder, inside of minecraft folder. If you don’t have this folder, create this folder by yourself.
3. Start Minecraft, start the game and in Game settings click on Resource Pack, and move this pack from the left to the right side of the screen.
