Hour of Code map is map for Minecraft 1.12.2. created by Nico_The_Pro. It was inspired by the Hour of Code game which author of this map suggest to try and play. This game is supported by Mojang and it’s made to inspire kids to start programming and to understand what coding is. This map is recreation of this game to real and actual Minecraft game.
Notes about Hour of Code map
All you need to do is to guide Steve through different obstacles but using command items. Dropping of this items will write some code into Minecraft system. Drop the play button and all code will be then executed. Does it sound fun and interesting for you?

Spoiler alert: Don’t watch this video if you would like to figure it out for yourself how to play this map. You can watch if you are to lazy to try it first of if you’re maybe stuck or don’t know what you need to do.
How to install Hour of Code map
1. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Applicaion Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder, or check in your filebrowser under view or settings)
3. Copy the map file which you just have downloaded into the saves folder, inside of Minecraft folder. Extract from rar/zip archive. Map must be extracted to saves folder and contain its subfolder.
4. Start Minecraft, choose Singleplayer and select Hour of Code map
5. Prepare yourself and enjoy in this lovely map
