Mekanica mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 is a technology mod that adds a number of simple and more advanced machines. Actually, this mod is the fork of the known Mekanism mod we have already written on MineThatCraft site and more information about it can be found on mentioned link.
High-tech mod which can be used to build armors, weapons and tools
Mekanica is a mod with which you can create various high-tech machines that can be used to create tools, armor or weapons. Important to note for this mod is that the code is reduced by about 12% and thanks to advanced optimization of the code the mod should be less buggy.
In short, Mekanica is similar to the Mechanism mode, but it should work better and more stable.
Very important to say is that if you’ve used the Mechanism mod and you replace it with Mekanica, all of your worlds will continue to work without problem. So compatibility remains and you can easily replace Mekanica and use it as your new mod.

How to install Mekanica mod
1. Install Minecraft forge (if you don’t have it yet installed)
2. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Applicaion Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder)
3. Copy the mod file which you just have downloaded (.jar file) into the mods folder, inside of minecraft folder. If you don’t have mods folder, create this folder by yourself.
4. Start Minecraft, click on MODS button and check if your new mod is successfully installed and added
