MineColonies mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 is not just a mod it is a whole new game in a mod. It is created by H3lay and his team and main purpose of this mod is to create, build and maximize villages in game. It reminds us a little bit to famous game Settlers and Civilization. You can designate jobs, define hierarchies, define what village to make and you will buiold one big, complex and complete functional civilization. Build your own community and villages with this awesome mod.
When you install this mod first what you need to do is to start with builder. He will build and construct building for you with the point Town Center. You must check him from time to time, because he will need resources and tools. So, keep in mind to check his info.
After building structures you can use your builders, villagers, miners, farmsers, use and build bakeries, sawmills and any other buildings to create one big human colony.
The mod which reminds us to popular games such as The Settlers and Civilization
After time is passing the buildings can be upgraded to new levels. Also with time your workers skills will increase. The more they work the more skilled they will be. The buildings can be damaged, but don’t be afraid, you can repair them. All your workers, people, whole community must have their homes. Sou you need to build Citizen’s hut to keep them in safe place.
After playing this civilization like game you will learn and find out some new things such as harvesting, flourishing, find out new materials, tools etc…

How to install MineColonies mod
1. Install Minecraft forge (if you don’t have it yet installed)
2. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finmder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Applicaion Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder)
3. Copy the mod file which you just have downloaded (.jar file) into the mods folder, inside of minecraft folder. If you don’t have mods folder, create this folder by yourself.
4. Start Minecraft, click on MODS button and check if your new mod is successfully installed and added
