Thaumcraft mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 is a mystical mod by which you can extract magic from physical objects in the form of essence and transform them into miracles. In short, this is a very special and unique mod, mystical, magical and intertwined with the world of secrets and magic. Mod was created by azanor.

Thaumcraft in the new version offers great things, for example a newly developed research system that lets you explore the outside and do some research underground, not as in previous versions where you could just sit in the house and from there to do most of the jobs.
In the underworld you will be able to explore and find new items, such as special crystals, collect them all you will need them, then Quartz ore or Amber Bearing stone and so on.
Along with this mod, you can use some other supported mods, which are extraordinarily complementary, such as Thaumcraft Inventory Scan and Thaumic JEI. They are very useful and we will write about them in the following posts. Download this mod, enjoy and join to mystical world of magic.

How to install Thaumcraft mod
1. Install Minecraft forge (if you don’t have it yet installed)
2. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Applicaion Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder)
3. Copy the mod file which you just have downloaded (.jar file) into the mods folder, inside of minecraft folder. If you don’t have mods folder, create this folder by yourself.
4. Start Minecraft, click on MODS button and check if your new mod is successfully installed and added
