Tobik’s 8-bitCraft2 resource pack for Minecraft 1.14.4 is a very simple and minimalist package that is the successor to the resrouce pack of the same name. The author of this sequel is dtobik.
A minimalistic and simple resource package that offers great speed and simplicity
Do you maybe remember Tobik’s 8-bitCraft resource pack that we’ve already described on our site? This is a sequel of this package and with very simple name too, just 8-bitCraft2. If you liked the first version, not that you will like this one, but we believe you will be amazed with version two.
What is Tobik+s 8-bitCraft anyway? It’s a texture package that wants to stay true to the original, vanilla package but at the lowest possible resolution of a whopping 8×8 pixels. Of course, in addition to the interesting retro look you will get additional FPS boost. What more to say about it? It looks good and it works great.
This version is completely recreated and made to be compatible with the latest and currently most popular Minecraft version 1.14.4. Of course, it will also work with both 1.13.x and the new 1.15.x version.

How to install this resource pack
1. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Applicaion Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder)
2. Copy the Resource pack file which you just have downloaded (.zip file) into the resourcepacks folder, inside of minecraft folder. If you don’t have this folder, create this folder by yourself.
3. Start Minecraft, start the game and in Game settings click on Resource Pack, and move this pack from the left to the right side of the screen.
