Tobik’s 8bitCraft resource pack for Minecraft 1.13.2 is a simple 8×8-based texture pack created by tobiksvk. It converts all current textures, blocks and items to a lower resolution from 16×16 to 8×8 pixels. The package includes all blocks, items and entities, as well as some 3D models.
Simple, beautiful and nice 8×8 resource pack
The author of this mod claims that although the low resolution this texture pack does not look or reveals the impression that it’s actually reduced the resolution from a standard 16×16. Unfortunately, we can not agree, although the package really is top quality, it looks beautiful and has vibrant colors, it’s really noticeable that it’s in a lower resolution. But of course this does not mind, texture pack is nice and lovely in own way and it certainly attracted us.
With this reduced texture resolution you will notice maybe a few FPS more and some game acceleration. Of course this plays a more important role for owners with weaker and older computers. Furthermore, as we said, strong and vibrant colors, textures are remarkably made and whole package is beautiful in its simplicity.

How to install this resource pack
1. Locate and open the Minecraft application folder.
– Windows OS start Run from start menu and type %appdata% and then click on Run.
– OSX (MAC) open Finder, hold down Alt and click Go, then click on the Library in the top menu bar. Now open folder Applicaion Support and look for Minecraft.
– Linux (most distributions), Minecraft folder is located on /home/yourusername/.minecraft ( dot (.) folder is hidden directory on Linux, so press Ctrl+H to unhide folder)
2. Copy the Resource pack file which you just have downloaded (.zip file) into the resourcepacks folder, inside of minecraft folder. If you don’t have this folder, create this folder by yourself.
3. Start Minecraft, start the game and in Game settings click on Resource Pack, and move this pack from the left to the right side of the screen.
